Welcome to the Spellman Law Firm. Founded in 1954, we are
dedicated to providing high quality, individualized representation
to people who have sustained personal injuries, victims of
medical malpractice, and families who have experienced the
wrongful death of a family member.
With offices located in Des Moines, Iowa and Perry, Iowa,
our lawyers represent individuals and families in connection
with injuries suffered in motor vehicle collisions and car
accidents. We initiate product liability claims on behalf
of individuals injured or killed by defective products. We
handle workers' compensation claims on behalf of those injured
while on the job.
The Spellman Law Firm consists of eleven attorney partners with
combined legal experience of more than 200 years. Our considerable
resources allow us to assign at least two partners to each
case we accept. The firm's longevity has allowed us to establish
working relationships with top experts across the nation in
the fields of medicine, engineering and accident reconstruction
for case input and testimony at trial.
Our lawyers are highly accessible, and we believe in maintaining
direct lines of communication with our clients. We have represented
people throughout Iowa including Des Moines, Council Bluffs,
Sioux City, Cedar Rapids, the Quad Cities, Dubuque and Waterloo.
We have also represented clients throughout Nebraska, and
have provided representation in many states across the country
on a case-by-case basis.
